Rich resonance of the TAMA concert toms were achieved by utilizing carefully selected maple shells and focusing seriously on shell molding and the bearing edge shape.
Direct-Flexi Mount
Direct-Flexi Mount utilizes a two-piece structure which allows some slight horizontal play when striking the drum. This controls the vibration of the shell while still allowing it to resonate more freely than traditional direct-to-shell mounts.
